Fireworks!

Firework – Saturday is the big night for our annual fireworks display. And the weather forecast is looking good. It will start at 8:30 pm sharp. The best vantage point is from the water in front of the Causeway. But the shoreline around the lake offers a great view too. Come out and enjoy.
We still need one more person to help keep everyone off the Causeway during the fireworks. Would you be able to do that? All you have to do is pull a rope across the road before the fireworks start and down again after they finish. Please reply to this message and we will get you organized.
Food Bank – Some of you will be closing up your cottages this weekend. And some of you may just have extra food available. If you have non perishable food left that could be used by the Food Bank we would be glad to get it to them. There will be bins set up at the corner of Hwy 41 and the south end of Skootamatta Lake Rd. (Near Pineview Free Methodist Church) to collect anything you have. The bins will be available on Sunday and Monday. We will check the bins regularly. Anything that you can donate will be appreciated by the Food Bank. There is always a need.
